MDExpert's malpractice policy
MDExpert has secured a medical
liability policy that covers the company and each of its consulting
physicians IN FULL for the opinions they render for the company.
Use of the Internet is considered another form of "telemedicine"
which has encompassed the offering of medical opinions via the
phone, video-conferencing and other means not involving the traditional
face-to-face consultation.
Consultations
between doctors across state lines are not subject to licensing
requirements. The opinions rendered by the MDExpert consultants
are delivered to the patient's physician, thus eliminating any
exposure to issues associated with practicing medicine across
state lines
